Only a few weeks after completing a 60 mile trek along the North East Coast, ECS sponsored Derek Bell was on his travels again, this time completing the 153 mile Coast to Coast route from Workington in Cumbria, to Tynemouth, Tyne & Wear, over a grueling three day period.
This was Derek’s first attempt at such a distance, which he achieved without any problems, raising an amazing £1,350 between his two chosen charities, Sila Organisation (Sarcoidosis) and Cancer Research.
Considering Derek’s target was set at a modest £500, we are sure everyone is proud of the total raised
