ECS were pleased to support Victoria Ellis & help towards her fantastic achievement in reaching in excess of £1000 for Guide Dogs for the blind
Here, Victoria tells us why the charity is so close to her heart….
“I have previously worked alongside both blind and partially sighted people, which has resulted in me having a good understanding of the frustrations and emotions which affect individuals on a daily basis.
I have also seen how an individuals confidence can grow due to being paired with a four legged hero. I am passionate about helping Guide Dogs and I am aware of the HUGE costs involved in training ONE dog.
Sight is a gift taken for-granted so my aim is to raise some money towards giving somebody their independence back as a result of having a Guide Dog!
I have raised in excess of £1000 to date but you can never raise too much sponsorship money therefore I am looking at 1 big last push to raise as much money as possible following my successful completion of my first Great North Run! If you would like to sponsor me, please visit my page :
